Prayers for Brexit? Oh My God (yes I'm being ironic)!
Liverpool's Anglican cathedral has set aside special prayer areas so people can pray for anything to do with Brexit. I know I'm preaching to the converted here when I say all prayer is rubbish (I have a stronger word in mind). But even if you believe in all that crap, if Brexit is the thing you want god's help for when there's so much really awful stuff going on not just around the world but around here then I think you have a BIG problem and you need help with that.
Just wanted a bit of a rant and get that off my chest. Done it.

More idiocy from the religious! Oh yes...let’s pray because the politicians are complete arses, lets pray that god will strike them all with wisdom and statesmanship, that should work!! Even I would be converted if I saw the power of prayer do that magic trick!

Prayer is historically the most sanctimonious way of doing fuck all and still feeling justified in patting yourself on the back for it.
That's a lot to ask for Marionville. Our present bunch would not know what to do with wisdom.
