I'm working on a Thanksgiving dinner shopping list. What (besides the turkey and pie) do you feel is an important dish to have at Thanksgiving dinner?

Turducken; Hope I spelled correctly. It is if you are not familiar a turkey, duck and chicken that has been processed and stuck together....

My family always made corn and oysters. Two cans of corn ( I use 1 can whole and one can creamed ) Two cans whole oysters, crumbled saltine crackers, black pepper, bake

@Aivery Last time I checked oysters and clams were two different animals

@Aivery I love oysters, not a big fan of clams

I love both and that sounds pretty good to me. How much (or many) crackers? A whole box, a sleeve, half a sleeve, just enough to cover the top??

And do you drain the can of oysters or leave it in?

@Captain_Feelgood Drain the majority, but leave a little of the liquor for flavor, if they aren't drained it becomes a soup

@Captain_Feelgood I would say about half a sleeve, maybe a little more. I mix them in to absorb liquid, and then put some on top as a crust

@zorialoki Sounds good, thanks

@Captain_Feelgood I hope you enjoy it

Homemade cranberry sauce, delicious and easy to make. It's so good on sweet potato puree. Hors d'oeuvres.

Oh yes , mashed potatoes are a given. But I love the Whoopie cushion the most.

Posted by Reason-AbleI’m 54 and bored. I needed a project and decided to buy a truck and make it my project. I’ve been adding little mods to it every weekend. Any other vehicle enthusiasts in the group?

Posted by flower_nutMy mother's best friend worked for the local newspaper and decided to dress me as a leprechaun and use it for Saint Patrick's Day. I was a smiling leprechaun, whatever that was?
