In Texas (USA) there is a strong influence from Mexico in both cuisine and music ... Tex Mex it is called and I love it and the sound of Mariachi bands for the distinctive instruments which are played ... accordion and brass instruments, amongst others. Here is Raul Malo of The Mavericks singing Volver, Volver in Spanish and, of course, his Spanish is flawless because he is Cuban American. The accordian player is Flaco Jimenez. I've pasted the English translation of the lyrics below.

I think with the right atmosphere and in the right setting in a bar in Texas, drinking and eating the local beer and food, I would really enjoy listening to this music.
