We’re going down under to Australia today...and an artist who is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Xavier Rudd incorporates environmental, cultural and humanitarian issues into his songs and is an active campaigner for the rights of indigenous Australians. Here he sings Follow The Sun. (Also posted in the Music Fans Group).
Xavier Rudd played at our small music festival.
Ah...that must’ve been nice,
"Brand new moon, brand new sun" say the lyrics -
"Same old politicians, same old corruption,
same old ideas from bankrupt minds" says FrayedBear.
Not unique to Australia I’m afraid,
Only place in the other side of the world I would had liked to visit while in the Navy.... Knew their Women when living in Crete. The Australian Pavilion in Sevilla's World Expo was Fantastic and worth to visit. I loved the music of "Hunters and Collectors" and "Midnight Oil" during Last Century and of course I grew up with the Bee Gees.
I’ve visited Australia twice and loved it. I would have willingly emigrated there, and my husband and I did think about it for a while.
@Marionville Lucky you guys. My interaction with Australian Ladies was Top Class.
@GipsyOfNewSpain I have absolutely no doubt of that!!!
@Marionville The Beauty of Getting Old is if you did Raised Hell when Young.... You are Satisfied living in the Past.
