Fabulous! I loved this. I had my 1st marriage at a stone circle (Castlerigg). Posting to a facebook friend.
I’d post this one in Traditional & Folk group too. Heilung, who are a German/Danish band, base their music on the ancient texts and rituals of the Germanic and Viking peoples.
Sort of reminds me of Carmina Burana.
@JackPedigo I’ve actually sung this Carl Orff piece a few times ...it’s very thrilling to sing in the company of a large choir!
@Marionville I looked for a better site but one version at the Seattle Opera included all the trappings of the original love and wenching songs. As you may well know it can get pretty primitive. I absolutely fell in love with Carmina Burana when I first heard it.
