Whether you are a believer or not there is something very powerful and moving in black gospel music. I have sung much of it over the years as part of my choir’s repertoire and I appreciate the emotional pull it has to both sing and to listen to. I’m posting one of the greatest American gospel singers of the 20th century Mahalia Jackson singing Trouble Of The World.
