Today I’m posting a well known Latin American song ...Besame Mucho (Kiss Me)...and I’ve chosen the version sung by Cape Verde singer Cesaria Evora. I went on holiday to Cape Verde with my son Graeme for Christmas a number of years ago ...it was delightful to spend it sipping cold drinks in sunshine and 27C heat on a pristine beach, instead of being huddled beside a fire in dark cold Ireland!

Really pretty.

Yes...it’s a lovely song.

@Marionville First heard it when very young, & nobody was able to tell me what it meant.

@Lilac-JadeCanada I remember hearing it being sung a lot when I went to Spain on holidays with my girlfriends before I was married! It sounded really romantic and exotic!

@Marionville I saw/heard it on the Ed Sullivan show, but I was really young in the mid 50's. Can't even remember who sang it, but I remember the name because nobody knew what it meant.

A well known song. Nice backing.

Another example of why Mexican songwriting is honored and appreciated the world over.
