As you probably know I was a remainer in the U.K. Brexit referendum which sadly went the other way and now we find our relationship with EU members, especially France, at an all time low. However I’m still an unashamed Europhile and love the French and their language and love to visit France, as well as all the other countries of Europe in and out of the EU. A very well known song. Did Elvis cover it? I too would certainly have been a Remainder, but there were strong American interests, which I do not understand, which ensured largely through false Facebook advertising that the British would vote against their interests. It sure complicates Ireland. The Scots must be pissed off.

@Marionville One has to wonder how much Rupert Murdoch persuaded his lesser intelligent readers to vote to exit. No doubt appealing to Jolly Old Britain and Enoch Powell's keep the wogs out.
@rogerbenham Oh the right wing press…including the Murdoch newspapers and media outlets, played quite a large part in persuading those who get most or all of their information …or rather propaganda from the Daiily Mail, The Sun and other Tabloid rubbish sheets to vote Leave!
@Marionville Fox News over here in the U.S. does propaganda like no one's business. More aptly put as Faux News. Can't stand their whining.
