The Nobel Peace Prize is the only category of the annual Nobel Prizes which is presented in Oslo, Norway and not in Stockholm, Sweden. It was a condition stipulated by Swedish Scientist and Philanthropist Alfred Nobel in his will that a Norwegian Nobel committee should be appointed to select the recipient and present the Peace Prize.
