My favourite band a-ha are famous for many things…one of them is periodically taking breaks or as they themselves describe it “going on hiatus”, sometimes for several years at a time. When that happens all three of them go their own way and pursue separate careers either in music or other forms of artistic expression. Morten the vocalist has a solo career as a singer and recording artist and tours and performs with a group of 3 or 4 supporting musicians who are not part of the a-ha entourage. Here at a small intimate club venue in Oslo, the ensemble perform two of Morten’s own material, live in 2014. - A Kind Of Christmas Card (from Wild Seed Album, 1995) & There Is A Place (from Brother Album, 2014) - Morten Harket.

Yes…and Morten’s own songs have a completely different sound and feel to a-ha’s.
@Marionville Absolutely different feel!! I just love his warm soothing voice Marje, plus he’s so easy on the eyes, what woman wouldn’t enjoy him!!
@Redheadedgammy Not every woman Rhonda….there are some who really don’t seem to like him or his voice…although they are only in a very small minority. There is absolutely no accounting for taste in this world, and I suppose that’s a good thing!
