Today we have The Trooping Of The Colours ceremony in the U.K. it’s held on the third Saturday in June every year at Horseguards Parade (behind Buckingham Palace) in London. It’s for the celebration of the monarch’s “official” birthday, and this year it’s King Charles’ second one, when he inspects his troops (all pretty symbolic and very historic stuff). This year the regiment leading the parade is The Irish Guards, so I thought something from the Band Of The Irish Guards would be appropriate…and here they are playing a medley of Irish tunes at a music festival in Germany in 2017…
