The Welsh are renowned throughout the world for their music & song and it’s often said all true Welsh people are born with an incredible ability to sing. I don’t think that can possibly be true, but that said they do have some top class singers, none better than internationally successful Katherine Jenkins with her rich and beautiful mezzo-soprano voice. Here Katherine performs a medley of traditional Welsh songs & hymns at an openair concert in her own backyard which includes some of her own family & friends, at Margam Country Park, Port Talbot, Wales in 2017.

Yes..very true.
Rotten seating for about a third of the audience. A rather sugar candy performance. I did not know all the songs. Celebrating Tom Jones at the end.

Yes…a celebration of all things Welsh would of course include Welsh rocker Tom Jones! Although I think she sang Delilah in way too high a key!
