What is the most ideal climate for you? What environment makes you happy?
Pretty happy living here in Oregon. Fairly moderate climate. Don't mind the rain. About same distance to mountains, or the ocean.
So Cal has virtually ideal weather most of the year. Summers become a bit unbearable at times, though, when it gets over 100 degrees for days. I'm seriously thinking of a couple places south to go for a few months/yr to deal with that (Atitlan, Guatemala, or Ajijic, Mexico). Both places are on lakes and have almost ideal climates year round. And both have expat communities.
About 80 degrees and dry. Or 75 degrees and raining all the time. or below freezing perpetual winter hellstorm if I don't have to drive.
I've not traveled enough to know if it's even possible to know by traveling. Seems like you would have to experience a place for at least a year to know. I don't think I'd like a place where it doesn't really change with the seasons. I'm not a fan of summer or winter but I love the spring and fall.
Climate with seasons. Cold snowy winter, mostly warm, sometimes hot summer (no more than 100F for no more than a week in the whole summer). Pronounced spring and autumn. Slight elevation above sea level ( if settle for 1000 m or so) . So yeah, the opposite of where I live right now lol
45 degrees and dry. Not cold enough to have the problems if ice and freezing, not warm enough for the grass to grow, if I get too cold I go inside and grab a blanket or two, if I get too hot I can always go outside. It is heaven except I don't believe in heaven.
This may shock you, but 75 and sunny is ideal for me. Lol
26 degrees and sunny . Slight breeze , rain at night occasionally
despite currently living in very humid rainforest climate - i love the lushness of vegetation - i would prefer the drier weather of the west coast. i need nature, being amongst her, so a rather moderate weather pattern between 12 & 28 centigrades (54-82 fahrenheit) would suit me just fine.
I loved Portland and Seattle. Not too cold not all fucking sunny.
