Ohio weather is great in the summer and fall, and the Gulf Coast is great in the winter. Colorado, along the front range is great most of the year with 350 days of sunshine on average and very dry so you better live near water. Key West is about the same, but very humid. Really hard to choose, so maybe being a nomad is my best environment?

I prefer a temperature range of high 50s to high 70s F, breezy with mild cloud cover or full sun. However, if I want to sleep rain is ideal. I adapt well to most weather, but prefer to stay inside in winter.

55-70. Anything past 75 bothers me.

I grew up in Ohio. Now in Iowa..Don't care for the beach..or desert.

Pretty happy living here in Oregon. Fairly moderate climate. Don't mind the rain. About same distance to mountains, or the ocean.

So Cal has virtually ideal weather most of the year. Summers become a bit unbearable at times, though, when it gets over 100 degrees for days. I'm seriously thinking of a couple places south to go for a few months/yr to deal with that (Atitlan, Guatemala, or Ajijic, Mexico). Both places are on lakes and have almost ideal climates year round. And both have expat communities.

About 80 degrees and dry. Or 75 degrees and raining all the time. or below freezing perpetual winter hellstorm if I don't have to drive.

I've not traveled enough to know if it's even possible to know by traveling. Seems like you would have to experience a place for at least a year to know. I don't think I'd like a place where it doesn't really change with the seasons. I'm not a fan of summer or winter but I love the spring and fall.

I live in that climate called South Florida

I like warm - hot summers and moderate winters. Summer should be warm enough to dive into a mountain like without worrying about hypothermia. Winter should be could enough to see your breath but not too cold to feel your toes.

The one I'm in - mostly warm-to-hot (yes, it gets humid too - so what), and surrounded by generous wilderness full of wildlife - along with a culture filled University town close by !

Autumn in my area once it gets underway is awesome. Clear blue skies, mild rolling surf, water is warm, air is a little cooler and mostly the tourists are away for a while.

Climate with seasons. Cold snowy winter, mostly warm, sometimes hot summer (no more than 100F for no more than a week in the whole summer). Pronounced spring and autumn. Slight elevation above sea level ( if settle for 1000 m or so) . So yeah, the opposite of where I live right now lol

45 degrees and dry. Not cold enough to have the problems if ice and freezing, not warm enough for the grass to grow, if I get too cold I go inside and grab a blanket or two, if I get too hot I can always go outside. It is heaven except I don't believe in heaven.

despite currently living in very humid rainforest climate - i love the lushness of vegetation - i would prefer the drier weather of the west coast. i need nature, being amongst her, so a rather moderate weather pattern between 12 & 28 centigrades (54-82 fahrenheit) would suit me just fine.

Whoever I and who I’m with is happy. I like the snow, sun, spring and fall. James
