Ah, I see...
William Tyndale was an English scholar who became a leading figure in the Protestant Reformation in the years leading up to his execution. He is well known as a translator of the Bible into English, influenced by the works of Erasmus of Rotterdam... Wikipedia
Born: 1494, Kingdom of England
Died: October 6, 1536, Duchy of Brabant
Nationality: English
Education: University of Oxford (1515), Hertford College (1506–1512), and University of Cambridge
I had never heard of Tynedale but the King James version was the biblical version I am most familiar with though not very familiar with it either. That's obvious since I did not know Tynedale was responsible for it.
