I saw a meme about Noah's Ark and it got me thinking about the supposed timeline of events. A quick search gave me the information I was looking for, but I noticed something very important.

According to Christian estimates, the earth was created about 6,000 years ago. Noah's flood is said to have occurred around 5,000 BC. So, since it's 2022 AD, that means that Noah's flood happened 1,022 years BEFORE the earth was created, right?

The contradictions write themselves.

I also found this: [christiananswers.net] that supposedly explains how the animals ended up where they are now after being on the ark. It also says that the flood happened before the ice age, which would place it at more than 2.4 million years ago. How's that work with their timeline?

I know it's all bullshit, but the fact that some people can't see that is honestly astounding.

The flood was bronze age man's explanation for shell fossils on mountains, it is prevalent in many cultures where crust folding has exposed limestone deposits with shells and other identifiable fossils.

Posted by CliffordCookIf the Christian Bible is such a great book, how come most Christians can’t bring themselves to read it all the way through even once?

Posted by CliffordCookI groaned when I saw this Christian Nationalist Christmas meme posted by one of Donald Trump's supporters in Iowa. Then, I smiled when I saw how many of his Facebook friends had reposted it.
