He is just doing what he has to in order to get re-elected, that's why he's pretending to be christian. Think about it, Jesus said it is easier for a camel to get through the eye of the needle than for a rich man to get into heaven! That means Trump is not even welcome in heaven, he's like one of the richest people on the planet. I respect him, but I do not always agree with him! As for god punishing anyone, you can't be serious! lol

Didn't their god used to smite Kings for breaking his laws, such as adultery, lying, stealing and covetousness?
