This is what an Australian Trump looks like. This is how you deal with them, not by having a massive sideshow with all the razamataz.

Our former psycho leader who did an Idi Amin and appointed himself minister for everything without informing anyone. This was enabled by our glorious Governer General, the UK's aka Royal Representative here in Oz, representing our Head of State aka King "wingnut" Charlie.
So when 2 psycho's are in power, they make a defense pact and low and behold, US Forces get another foreign military base where they can store nuclear payloads in a previously nuclear free zone, with the means to deliver them aka B-52's.
AUKUS, the defense agreement, should be torn up simply because it was signed by Trump and Morrison. The UK, the other partner in AUKUS, are complicit in the Assange saga so Australia should tell them to piss off too re AUKUS.

The Trump play book has or will infiltrate right wing politics globally, including here. How much in Australia remains to be seen. Note that the Libs stood with Morrison. Trump play book.

Still waiting for Albo to put some Albo-grease into the Assange matter. Not optimistic.

I still say, despite the better than expected mid term elections in America, that authoritarianism will prevail in America sooner or later. The fascist wing of the Yankee ruling class have put a line through what passes as their 'democracy'. I also still ask what will Oz do in this scenario, as we are up to the yahzoo in the American Empire? Would a Labor govt continue the meek acquiescence with America that has prevailed since 1975? Would this be an issue for Australians, like Vietnam?

America is already fascist, regardless of the colour of the White House or congress, house of Reps

@puff well I would say a ruling class oligarchy now leading towards authoritarianism, but it is a matter of definitions.

@David1955 I like this one, ticks all the boxes

Another prime target is Pine Gap. One Nuke there and most of eastern Australia will get to enjoy the radiation fallout

Pine Gap first for sure as we watch satellites fall out the sky. Always take out comms first.

I am heartened to see Labor going after the larcenous Nazi party, the larcenous party most specifically.
Scomo did a lot for Australia. Woke us up from the" She'll be right mate"complacency in Australian politics.
Nikkio Savva's book bulldozed will be a fun read although no news but perhaps help topple the loudmouth aspirations of the larcenous party.

The port of Darwin is owned by the Chinese, therefore giving them the right to look after their own "interests/ ASSETS"

The yanks want to have nuclear warships based and stationed close by, perhaps in regard to AUKUS?
There will be no reason for China or America to directly attack each other,
Australia is a safe battleground for them. Their population will not be decimated.
Australia is now living on a power keg when the fuse has been lit and is racing to explode
