Checking in...I've been swamped with costume work for the dance conservatory and putting up my first art exhibit. It's finally up but have to get ready for reception including making prints of all my work. And also work my full time job and take care of my 2 teens.
The show invite came out this week. Makes it real now. I can stop pinching myself.
Update on the new guy...it's going great. He's been super helpful with the prep work for the show in assisting with photos of all the work. I think he's amazing.
That's all for now. I hope to be in the chatroom more now that things have slowed down a little.

@LeighShelton we have a wild animal sanctuary in my area, full of rescued big cats. A real rescue with acres and acres of prairie. There is a tall, overhead walkway so if anybody is close by you can see them. The volunteers say the cats aren't troubled by the people as long as they are up above them. There are also rescued bears and smaller species of cats and other critters rescued from stupid people, bad zoo's, and circuses.
I'm staying at the home of Aletta Vett; who's a costume maker and designer herself. (New Paltz, N.Y.)
And it runs in the family; Ilya, her son, is famous for the Costumes in Lion King on Broadway.
