For technical climbing of all difficulties, I haven't found a better site than The Mountain Project. They also have message boards and partner-finding help.

What's your personal favorite tip or trick? I air dry baby wipes, just leave them out on a shelf. They reconstitute well, pack lighter and clean better than toilet paper. Work on dishes too.

"Climbers" dying on Everest while waiting in line. Forget the peace and solitude of wide open spaces. This is supposedly the pinnacle of mountaineering experiences. You couldn't pay me enough to go. Does this look like fun to you?

Hiking during hunting season, what is the best thing to do? I am heading off to an area I have heard is full of hunters this time of year. I don't own anything too terribly bright in color. I will hopefully have no issues but I wonder.
