Let me preface this by stating that I'm going to provide honest feedback.I come from a professional design background and will hold your work up to that standard. I understand you're not a professional graphic designer but if you're going to design your own covers you still have to achieve some basic measure of professional design standards.

That being said, where do I begin?

This can't be the layout for the entire cover; front, back and spine or the information here would be spread across the entirety so I assume you've formatted the book to be wider than it is high. What are the book's dimensions?

So assuming this is just the front cover only, it's very confusing. At first glance it looks like the title of the book is "Versus Good" only. It takes a bit of effort to make out the handwritten "Evil" but even if one does make it out, it's on the bottom which then reads "Versus Good Evil." The font for "Evil" is so sloppy t just looks like a scrawl until one can determine that it's a word but even when one does, that does not resolve the other issues I've already pointed out.

The generic textured background is uninteresting and your name is lost against it because it's too light a color against the light colored background.

From a design standpoint nothing works. It needs to be completely redesigned and executed with a designer's eye. If you don't have one, I highly recommend you outsource the cover to a pro. There are many to be found online and many of them have reasonable prices. You just have to do a bit of shopping around.

On the other hand, a poorly executed cover can be of interest for reasons of its flaws but that kind of attention is a double-edged sword and can easily backfire.
