The CDC Predicts Deaths Will Soar in These 12 States
Alabama
Causing 49,174 cases and 1,068 deaths, coronavirus has already claimed at least one official. "A longtime mayor in Alabama has died of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). He was 84," reports People. "Billy Joe Driver, the mayor of Clanton, Alabama, was diagnosed with the contagious respiratory virus last month." Meanwhile, another official said he'd like to see more people catch the disease. "I'm not as concerned as much as the number of cases—and in fact, quite honestly—I want to see more people, because we start reaching an immunity as more people have it and get through it," State Senator Del Marsh, a Republican, said. He's on the state's coronavirus task force.
Ohio
"Ohio has seen a spike in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases across the state over the last few weeks. Twelve counties have now been placed on the state's COVID-19 risk alert system," reports Fox 8. "There were 62,856 total confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in the state, which is an addition of 1,525 cases and the highest daily cases reported in Ohio since the pandemic began. The virus has also resulted in a total of 3,032 deaths (up 26 from Thursday) across the state."
In Ohio I can tell you it's because after opening up began most people would not wear a mask. Those 12 counties are now under mandatory mask wear while out in public and potentially going to be near other people. We have spiked in cases after being down between 200 to 300 to over 900 a day now for the last 3 weeks. 1525 was Fridays count with 24 new deaths. New hospitalizations: 111 New ICU admissions: 14 We started opening up soon after we leveled out and quickly went back into over 400 a day. And it just never stopped climbing after that. It only took about 3 weeks to start hitting 700 a day then going up about a hundred a day each week after.

Right. We're thought of as being disposable just like the poor quality of our products today. Our politicians know they are much safer than us out here as they are semi isolated from the public in large part. Their death rates will be much lower than ours.
@William_Mary . The politicians are taken care of by a superior health care system which is free to them and their families. They have set up themselves as an elite society not intersecting with ours.
