Not Just an Orchard, Not Merely a Field

I have occasionally stated that the return of fascism after a century is upon us. In that past time line there was also another type of cold war being waged. It was against a growing sentiment, quest, for socialism, often labeled as communism. As Vijay Prashad points out, [thetricontinental.org] India has had a lasting century old quest, to a degree, still successfully managing to install a sense of socialism into their society. As has some of Asia, and of course, Latin America especially. These places are constantly at war with capitalism which wants to wipe any sense of a societal benefit socialism could bring to the world as a whole. As capitalism falters and collapses it has only 2 ways to turn, fascism and then war. Once you manufacture a fascist movement across a noticeable percentage of the planet, war is the manipulative means to stomp it out producing a deceptive expenditure in fighting it to rebuild the economy capitalism destroyed.

Now the big question is, what happens when today's fascism comes from the very places that a century ago were the places who raised up against it? Then they ignored it and supported it to get to the war. Today they are it. Where does the war they are creating today going to take us? Where does it take place?

While we concentrate on the ruling class of being the major, sole, beneficiaries of our work in the western society, living in luxury, the countries and people of these capitalist attempt to oppress and suppress view all of us, the citizenry, in the same manor. Many of them don't know of the lifestyles we live. Which is why they attempt to flee to western societies when our capitalist and politicians devastate theirs in search of the same false dream and false freedom.
