There were so many different political factions involved, he’d have a hard time, kind of, creating an idea of who was who and who supported what. But these divisions in a country that the three major pillars of power had been the monarchy, the Catholic Church institution, and the military, huge changes had been on the horizon in Spain by the end of the 19th century, turn of the 20th century.}
Basically the same atmosphere Germany had leading into WWII. In which Hitler explored a number of as he managed to deceptively use them to gain power. According to the series (hunting for hitler) on the History channel. Spain and the Catholic church were essential in playing a part of helping him and major components of the top nazi's escaping Europe for South America. Having left Spain in multiple submarines.
There's a lot of resemblance here to the struggles of Latin America in this, especially Venezuela over the past 2 decades. Chavez and Maduro on the other hand have conducted great patience in avoiding the social violence within the many fractions of parties there. They can manage that patience off the support from a vast majority of the citizenship. Even as the opposition has control of the national assembly. Who are essential to blocking much of what the government and citizens desire. Which is due to the ability of citizens now being a large part of the country's communities structures and voting process.
History repeating itself within civilized minds. I wonder how many people who blissfully use the many Orwell memes would do so knowing he was a Marxist socialist
