The Berkeley Tribute to Robert Parry
I would place Robert Parry side by side to Abby Martin to be my most favorite investigative journalist, reporters. On the far right of this article of a tribute to him you can also find another memorium to him. The founder of Consortium News. We don't hear much about people like him, by design. I caught him on an NPR show, of all places, one day a few years back. They were talking about the evolution of media from about the era of Vietnam into the 80's. He describe his time in media, the changes, and how the CIA was actively involved with MSM in the manor we now get our news from them as a manged perception to control what we get to form our opinions of how we see the world and our politics. Inside both this article and the memorium it's talked about his time with Gary Webb and the consequences one may fall to under the pressure of the CIA and their fake press world when they don't want the truth to get out. live the truth via independent journalism. Out of the Illusion.
