Vulgar Games: When Our Struggles Become Fodder for Entertainment
This goes back to the comment I made within the main script of a post I made the other day about the cycle within the market and bailouts. [agnostic.com]
I also have a realm of existence for Them. Them's are living in what I call a false reality of security. Now those quite close to retirement that have been fortunate enough to have good paying jobs during their years, most likely republicans and mainly follow MSM for their daily propaganda, are one breed. Probably don't give much thought today towards the people who fought, died, and suffered through the times to get them unions, pensions, holidays, 40 hour work week, overtime pay, and the company healthcare they're most likely still enjoying. Probably built a decent savings while even enjoying some good vacations over the years. Out of town even! State! Country. There's a dam good chance they did that under one employer also. The other breed are those still left in those jobs, younger somewhat, cocky and caviler. I know a few of them. Some have managed to slip the results of our job ending trade deals by bouncing to other factories in the same field due to experience. Although some like myself didn't fair quite as well. Some fallen to the worse, some found out it isn't quite so easy to have to pick up and start all over without going through a period of lower paid jobs and or spending most to all you had saved to get back to a decent wage paying job. Depending on your other half to get a job and sometimes back to school also to make a real gain back. Sacrifice? Family time! Something we just don't talk about anymore. The effected family life.
