To some degree Assange made his own bed. I do not feel exposing war crimes warrants what has happened to him.
My concern is just how did Assange get his information and he appears to have his own bias on matters.
I do not think journalists should be hacking into anyone's computers. Goes to do the ends justify the means. I think the public needs to know; committing a crime to gain the information isn't the way - IMHO.
Maybe just maybe if we all took a look at the elected officials we put in positions of power Assange would not have needed to expose their war crimes.
He is ill and should be treated with more compassion.

I know you have your opinion, but I'm just discussing the issue with you. Not trying to upset you or anything like that. Assange didn't hack anyone though, and how is he ill? The only way to get information on corruption is to either get the information from someone else, which Assange did, or to "steal" the information. I don't think people like Manning and Snowden should be held accountable to the law if their information is proven to be true either. I don't think exposing crime should be a crime.

@Piece2YourPuzzle I wanted to whether Assange was the hacker or not. Journalists rely on sources to provide info and that is what Assange did. I just feel if Assange was doing the hacking then charge him with that. What he exposed has pissed off government officials and I do think it is wrong to be going after him the way they are. I thought I had read somewhere his health was not good and I am concerned he will not receive good care in prison. I am not happy about Manning or Snowden and agree exposing a crime should not be a crime.

@silverotter11 Yeah, I don't think jail is going to be kind to him. People might never hear what he has to say ever again. I still think him providing testimony and evidence as to who his source was for the DNC hacks or leaks is the key to this whole thing. People might not believe him though. They might just want to keep him silent and away from a court room.

Talking of illusions here is one that I have just noticed. The visitor following me shows an incredible 100% compatibility but when I go to find out who this remarkable person is I get the result in the second photo because she has blocked me. The illusion has just been outed!

LMAO

She does some post here now and then. Comments quite often. She's somewhat periodic claiming to be busy a lot. But I think she has a touch of activist in her that keeps her busy. She seems to be well informed though.

@William_Mary Does not effectively comment if she blocks others from learning of her opinions. Childish in my opinion.

@FrayedBear yea, I don't know. I wish we could settle this but if she has you blocked it's hard to hash out in private messenger.

@William_Mary perhaps you should tell her that only a fool discards what they do not know and it is an even bigger fool who broadcasts seed onto ground they have previously deliberately poisoned.

It reads as if Assange has simply exchanged one maximum security prison for another with slightly tougher rules.
