Russiagate finally dies & more American hypocrisy (w/ Jesse Ventura)
In the second half of the show, Lee sits down with Jesse Ventura to discuss what it’s like to be an anti-war voice in the US’ corporate media infrastructure. Ventura is currently an RT anchor but he was supposed to host a show on MSNBC during the early years of the Iraq war. He was barred from his MSNBC show for expressing anti-war views and his multimillion dollar contract stopped him from reporting for anyone else for three years. His humanitarian perspectives are also bolstered by his service as a naval seal and a term as the governor of Minnesota.
A very interesting discussion with Lee Camp and Jesse Ventura here. Phil Donahue comes up in this discussion also as a past MSNBC host on reasons he was fired from that company. Learn how much the the main stream media was willing to pay to keep dissenting voices off the air! Jesse and Camp discussion starts at 12:45
