Pick your poison carefully! Remember that the money you donate to a candidate of your choosing will be going to their preferred candidate in the long run. There's a lot of money being thrown into the pot already! Is your candidate actually spending that money? I didn't see the tens of millions we gave to Sanders being spent on TV or radio. I believe at some point it was well over 100 million. Sanders was rarely mentioned on radio! TV adds were nearly nonexistent for the entire primary. The DNC has done essentially nothing to change their primary process. And what little was done can be changed at their discretion. 20 candidates is no coincidence, it serves a purpose. It's year and a half's worth of a cash cow! You're essentially supporting our own corrupt election process that in the end will support more of the same corruption in DC.

I'm sorry Sue. I have a bad tendency to just take it for granted that many understand that republicans are the more evil of the establishment. As that is often the conjecture of most of society outside that party's support system. So often my intentions are to show reasons that the democrats are just as bad and actually a partner with republicans towards certain agendas. Make no mistake about it with me here, I have the same discontent with both parties, local, state, and nationally. I personally believe the whole party line and other terms of division should be abolished. All they accomplish is a sense of division of the population. But that would promote a sense of peace, people, and planet with everyone on the same game plan. Which would abolish the means of deception used by people for self status towards the benefits of the few, the ruling class. It would also eliminate the need for them to use our media as a perception management tool in which so many believe in their delusional reality they've created. When the enemies they create for us can be exposed as us and they are seen as the real enemies.

Somehow the DNR has got to out airwaves trump. The media gave trump such a load of free air time covering his circus act the DNC is going have to pull some of the same crap.

If only it were that simple. One question blows that thought out of the water. What lead to Trump though? All other questions to be asked lead back to the answer of that one.
@William_Mary I think trump is the culmination of years of planning by the wealthy running big corporate to control the government. The money is icing on the cake, it is about control/power. trump loves the put down, he enjoys grinding people under his heel and the people in control are using him. That the christian right trumpsters do not even see this is stunning.
@silverotter11 this is all true. But history tells us that once we've moved right, with the help of democrats, it never goes back left. We've been moving right since the FDR era. Trump was merely a great test for a leap right. And no one seems to be seeing the big picture. Another democrat in power will be like another Obama. Just setting up another leap to the right while moving right.

Do the people in control really want North Korea, Russsia or sharia law style life in America (in some ways we are there with the southern right wing states and their abortion laws)? What will our 'enemies' do when/if we fall? Or will we completely destroy the planet by not fixing stupid?

I’d like to see shorter campaign seasons, publicly funded elections (no paid for tv or radio commercials) and all presidential primaries held on the same day.

Although there is a well of individuals related to the mainstream media that do benefit, its not the only entity that does so. It's much deeper than that, and not just about money.
