Former MSNBC Reporter Krystal Ball Exposes Mainstream Media Bias

She also talks about the time she talked bad about Hillary Clinton and was told that her talk about Clinton had to be approved after the Clinton campaign called MSNBC leaders to complain.

A good documentary to watch about the mainstream media's bias, as I'm sure some of you have already, is "Manufacturing Consent" with Noam Chomsky.

I almost was reeled in, then she started sounding like all the other talking heads and I tuned out. Nothing to see here, move on, move one.
I miss Walter Cronkite.

What did she say that made you tune out?

Never mind. I see your point after reading William_Mary's post.

Notice how the narrative goes from fair, to amount of coverage, then mean to Bernie. She then claims during the "mean" statement nothing is coming down from the top, then goes on to contradict that with the Clinton issue. Then pretty much spends the rest of the time telling us how it isn't controlled but is.

She justifies this as her peers being just people. Then admits they are to good to hang out with Walmart workers. I don't want the report on people they hang out with! I want the report to be of all people in the nation in which it is their job to go out and discover! This is merely a narrative of control from a certain America they want you to be. We cover this regularly in the form of, Conditioning. You're not allowed to be you, you're to be what we want you to be. What we report. And who are they reporting for? You're to be of urban elite background, successful educated urbanites.

The blind spots and skewed perceptions were created due to incompetent work ethics of journalist and reporters in which Trump brilliantly took advantage of. Their lack of work opened up easy pickings for Trump to just herd the sheep in with the food in a bowl made of lies and full of hate to fuel a leap to the right.

Then she moved forward to justify this all within class warfare as though they have no control to go out and cover what input "Walmart" people might add to the nations issues. And maybe they don't have that control, with purpose, from the top. How often do we see reporters or journalist stop by a Walmart, or any other place of the working class at that, to get any sense of their feelings during election cycles? What you do get is those on the news shows, that of their specialist who just might have a certain agenda? It's not to often you see them walking down a city street randomly asking passer by-s about election choices. When it is done it's in certain districts in which you're likely to get a typical establishment supportive response.

At least she admits the amount of coverage on certain issues is astonishing glorified while other topics are left basically untouched.

I'm fairly certain Saagar just backed up my analysis within his framework rant. These 2 just did a skit on media biasness while explaining their own media biasness and the reasons for it. Priceless!

I see your point.

Rather than referring to it as mainstream media, call it corporate media. The stories that aren’t reported are probably just as or more important than what makes the headlines. MSNBC does very little regarding internet equality, since it’s owned by Comcast.
We don’t have a fair and free press.

That's a good point about calling it corporate media.
