A failure to understand their interests are not in the best interest of most Americans made it so easy to guide the sheeple.
On some level humans knew mercury was bad - "Mad as a hatter".
Coal miners died from lung problems for as long as coal has been mined but what other fuel source was there?
Lead in gasoline - special interests paid well to keep that one from being solved far longer than it should have.
The tobacco industry.
HUGE list now we have fracking and the fact the emissions of methane NOT being measured from this industry and the pollution. Huge sums paid to keep quiet and get legislation reversed or not done at all. I am angry that money is now the GOD that rules our world.
