Lets face it. NATO is not a means to prevent war, but a means to the first stages of war.
{While many Western leftists claim otherwise, the protests against China are an attack against socialism and an endorsement of Western imperialism. But China, as well as its supporters within Hong Kong, are what can best bring Hong Kong out of its corporatist paradigm in the decades ahead.}
This faction (China's supporters) is the newest stage recently in the protest. Initially started by a group of a better off percentage they drew in a moderate mix of other citizens. Who now recognize that the protest are being funded and organized by US NGO's and other organizations. Leaks of the protest leader visiting DC being coddled by both party leaders and regime change members of Trumps administration. So recently a percentage of the violence in Hong Kong has been these to fractions fighting each other also. Also marching outside of a wealthy magnet of anti-China tycoon Jimmy Lai's home.
