THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, AMERICAN WORKERS HAVE LITTLE TO CELEBRATE

[popularresistance.org]

{The question is whether workers in the United States can decisively break from the despair, the racism, and the extreme alienation shaping their current condition.}

First we must break away from the conditioning of the media's perception management installed on us for the establishment and ruling classes benefit.

I was curious to when most citizen bankruptcies might occur. I didn't manage to get a hit on that in a search. I'm in the mind of thought it could be after the holiday season after so many max out their credit cards and have little to survive on.

Brookings Institution study finds a staggering 44 percent of US workers earn low wages

[wsws.org]

{Workers with “very low” wages were also excluded, as were those who worked more than 98 hours per week. Had these groups been included there is a possibility that the number of workers considered low wage in the US is actually higher.}

I can't imagine working 98 hours a week!?! By law I'm only allowed to work 60 hours a week. I often work upwards of the high 40s and into the mid 50's most weeks. At 18 an hour my life style is fed by my over time pay of 27. If I was stuck at working only 40 or less it would kill me! Mary would have to drastically curve her habits to help out! In which that would filter down into her helping the kids in so many ways. And quite honestly, we still struggle in some areas yet.
