{When I speak out online against Trump’s act of war on Iran and interact one-on-one with those who object to what I’m saying, the disparity between what they think they know and what they actually know gets very quickly highlighted. Simply by my challenging people to prove the claims that they are making about Soleimani planning to attack Americans, attacking a US embassy, directing a strike that allegedly killed a mysteriously unnamed US contractor in Iraq, killing hundreds of US soldiers in Iraq, that he’s a “terrorist”, etc, they quickly realize that they have literally no evidence for their claims beyond the unsubstantiated assertions of US government officials and people who unquestioningly repeated those assertions.

And from there I just ask them, “How well has uncritically swallowing US government narratives about the need for military action worked out for you in the past?”

Nobody wants to admit that they are doing such a thing, least of all a Trump supporter who’s poured plenty of mental energy into distancing this administration from the previous Republican occupant of the White House. But that is indeed exactly what they are doing: uncritically swallowing baseless claims by US government officials about the need to advance a pre-existing military agenda, in a way that is indistinguishable from the cult-like behavior of Bush supporters in the lead-up to the Iraq invasion.}

Ironic she uses the term cult like as the other day all of media was accusing General Qassem Soleimani of being a cult like figure. That's that conditioning repetitive news weapon I attempt to warn you of. I imagine some here have seen the videos that have been put together of various news reporters repeating the very same phase on an issue that made the current headlines. That's the media making sure the population all get the same message so that when we discuss amongst ourselves we all have the story correct, to what the establishment and intelligence agencies need us to perceive. This way our conversations go over so more smoothly at the water fountain. I ask, who then is actually acting, cult like?

Iran much like Iraq was before 9/11, has been one of strongest leading countries staffing off Al Qaeda and fighting against them before and ever since 9/11. That statement is so fucking ridiculous he should resign. Trump, Pence, and our entire government are the very people working with those that assisted 9/11 terrorist. The god dam Saudis! And been supporting terrorist ever since. Along with the past 2 administrations and the 16 years between them.

{The demand for proof would be normal even if the entity in question didn’t have an extensive history of lying about these things, because, as anyone with even a cursory understanding of logic already knows, the burden of proof is always on the party making the claim.}

Ordinary. It's become ordinary that facts and proof are no longer needed. Only baseless accusations are necessary.

{The truth of the matter is that if you take every American killed including and since 9/11, in the resultant Middle East related wars, conflicts and terrorist acts, well over 90% of them have been killed by Sunni Muslims financed and supported out of Saudi Arabia and its gulf satellites, and less than 10% of those Americans have been killed by Shia Muslims tied to Iran.

This is a horribly inconvenient fact for US administrations which, regardless of party, are beholden to Saudi Arabia and its money. It is, the USA affirms, the Sunnis who are the allies and the Shias who are the enemy. Yet every journalist or aid worker hostage who has been horribly beheaded or otherwise executed has been murdered by a Sunni, every jihadist terrorist attack in the USA itself, including 9/11, has been exclusively Sunni, the Benghazi attack was by Sunnis, Isil are Sunni, Al Nusra are Sunni, the Taliban are Sunni and the vast majority of US troops killed in the region are killed by Sunnis.}

In other words. Just like with Israel, as it is with the Sunni's, as it is with the Saudis who are radical Sunni Wahhabist, our government is in bed with our own most destructive enemies. And we are every bit as expendable as anyone else on the planet!

{Soleimani actually was involved in intelligence and logistical cooperation with the United States in Afghanistan post 9/11 (the Taliban were his enemies too, the shia Tajiks being a key part of the US aligned Northern Alliance). He was in Iraq to fight ISIL.

The final aggravating factor in the Soleimani murder is that he was an accredited combatant general of a foreign state which the world – including the USA – recognises. The Bethlehem Doctrine specifically applies to “non-state actors”.}
