Ex-US intel officer: Pompeo ‘lying through his teeth’ on Iran
The Trump administration is imposing new sanctions on Iran and defying Iraq’s call for a US troop withdrawal. This comes as the stated rationale for the US assassination of Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis is being increasingly undermined.
Scott Ritter explains with Aaron Mate what conditions are now left behind for remaining American troops in Iraq. And how the 2 men, Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, that Trump assassinated saved Baghdad from ISIS.
The US also tried to murder a senior Iranian military official in Yemen. That mission failed. And this failed assassination raises more doubt that the US was trying to prevent an imminent attack as it claimed. Instead, it appears the US was carrying out an assassination campaign against Iran and its allies.
Scott Ritter---Qasem Soleimani was a human person? You will not hear that from our MSM. Go by the facts, ask the Syrian people how they feel about his part in liberating them from our terrorist supported, weaponized, and funded groups. The American people should be grateful the ISIS flag isn't now flying over a large swath of the Middle East because of these 2 men. Saving a lot of bloodshed of American troops that would then be used on the ground to combat an entity our government has created.
Finally I get the answer to what American people Soleimani is responsible for killing within a legitimate explanation most just can live with, or speak on in ignorance.
Basically, in other words, it's quite relevant to the chemical weapons narrative in Syria, from Obama to Trump. With Obama, Soleimani was engaged in clearing out ISIS, taking him out would create a large problem in which American troops would then have to fill. More American casualties. With ISIS now basically handled, Trump uses a ridiculous claim of eminent danger that any such actions would be suicidal for Soleimani to engage in. Peace in the Middle East will not be tolerated! It's presently a killing field providing profitable benefits and continued power structures for many people. And now Soleimani and al-Muhandis deaths will ensure and incite more rage within the area towards continuance.
As Scott explains at the end, in other words. The Iranian's ended up being the adults on this playground of war. But it may not quite be over yet.

As far back as Reagan, they all should have been. I keep explaining the importance in the exodus of the 2 party system and voting for 3rd parties. New York joining to ...I don't know my geography but I think the USA has the potential to join together more than one such city.
