Quite frankly, this is the DSA beholden to the democratic party as I have been saying all along. Just another fake posturing of socialism. Their goal is to draw anyone questioning the party back to supporting it. Just as I believe is also Sanders job. And to....
{But the job of Sunkara and his co-thinkers is to tamp down these sentiments by keeping workers and young people confined within the Democratic Party and promoting the illusion that this bankrupt, pro-corporate, pro-war party can somehow be reformed.}
{Disabusing the masses of workers and young people of any illusion that the Democratic Party can be reformed will take hard and bitter lessons, of which the rigging of the 2016 primaries is one and the unexplained events in Iowa are another.}
How many will finally be awaken when this election cycle is over? Will it be enough for the virtual end of the democratic party? If I thought my mere vote would count I'd gleefully vote for Sanders. I hope he somehow manages to win. So he can go on to prove to be the same type of con artist Obama became.

I think he lacks the guts and imagination to admit that his life long membership of the Democrats was a mistake. He lives too close to Canada to be unable to see that democracy is not in any way the purpose of the Democratic Party. He is scared that if he left the party he would not be re-elected as a senator, yet fails to see that his state would happily elect him independently. He has to see that leaving the party makes his history with it a mockery. All the new progessive congress people need to realise that . Watching Nancy Pelosi last night I wondered how so inept a person ever got to her exalted height. But of course the Democratic party is as you say "bankrupt, pro-corporate, pro-war" and immoral.

We'll have to agree to disagree then. But his history tells a different story. One I had to come to terms with myself having once been on his side. To your point though. If he can't do the walk he shouldn't do the talk. If we aren't worth the fight he should just stay on the floor and shout some more. I've stated my case against him for over 3 years now. And within that time he has proven me right time after time with his actions, leaving his talk behind him in an empty vessel of a facade. Many have come before him and many afterwards.
