I dislike hatred and violence no matter who it comes from .... but this conflict involves a fighting field that is not level. On the Arab side, they have to do something about Hamas. On the Israeli side, they have to end the occupation and blockade, stop abuses at the checkpoints, stop the torture of prisoners ..... I hope I see an end to the violence in my lifetime.

I agree. But occupations and marginalizing other humans cause frustrations like the injustice of crimes against blacks causes the frustration of riots. I think until one is in a marginalized group, where there is no light at the end of the tunnel, cannot understand. When I put myself in their shoes and imagine it my son or daughter feeling the brunt of not being safe from the privileged class, I want to F#$k someone up. I cannot imagine being a Palestinian mother or a mother of color in the US.
Perhaps the most telling aspect is that the Israeli army are using snipers. Snipers.
