This is good to know. To some people it tastes like soap but not to me. It actually grows in our area during the winter.
@Sheannutt A recent program showed this was in one's genetic make-up and one carries it for their life. For me it tastes like 'Cilantro'.
My sons in law tell me they think it tastes like soap and don't eat it. It is a genetic things. My kids like it as I do. So when they're coming to dinner I don' t make anything with cilantro in it. And as that only happens every couple of months, I'm free to enjoy it most of the time.
I love cilantro, grow it, and use it frequently.
I wonder what the mechanism of action is. What about cilantro binds to heavy metals so the kidneys can process them more easily?
Extremely important ingredient in a fresh salsa love it.
