I am loving this vegan revolution; I went out for dinner and had a split red lentil and beetroot salad followed by chocolate cake with vegan ice cream and mandarins, delicious. 10 years ago it would have been a garden salad followed by a fruit salad without the cream. Many thanks to all the vegans out there making this happen.

Being vegan is catching on so fast that I worry it's a fad. But for now I'm enjoying all the new options.

Make sure you consider nutritional content...

Yes, it’s better now, lentil and beetroot is much healthier than a garden salad nutritionally.

That's great! I struggle to stick with it.

I didn't know you were vegan.. How long? I'm a flexitarian..

@Cutiebeauty I have been trying for the last year. But I realized that I don't feel well when I don't eat some meat so flexitarian is probably the way for me to go.

I’m not vegan. I’m allergic to egg and dairy- have been all my life and can’t eat processed meats or pork. So thanks vegans!

@GreatNani I came to the same conclusion...

It is finally catching on. A British friend living here is heading for England to house sit while some of her friends head for Sydney AU. She has said there are a lot more vegetarian restaurants there than here.

Yes, In the UK and Aus. 😊
