As cooking beans takes a while and generally I forget to cook the day before I like canned beans. I also cook a small amount each time so for 2 cups of cooked beans it is easier with a can, As far as vegetables go I only like them fresh with the exception of peas those I can handle frozen.

They are perfectly fine as long as you rinse and soak a bit to remove extra sodium etc...

If I can I prefer fresh, but I always have some canned/boxed for those lazy/no time days when I just need to eat something fast.

Most of the time I sprout dried beans. There are caned beans/vegs. in case of emergency but they do get rotated once in a while. Besides, prefer frozen.

I use canned beans when I'm too lazy/busy to cook them, which is not often. I use canned corn sometimes. Mostly for veggies I use fresh or frozen.
