How do you tell religious people that you're an atheist?
kltuckmn comments on Dec 20, 2017:
Generally, other peoples beliefs are not important to me and don't impact my life. Their religion is none of my business as mine is not theirs. I do not go out of my way to tell someone I'm an atheist but if pressed I just say their beliefs are not mine or their god is not mine.
What is your response when people threaten you with religious punishments? (i.e. Hell/Jahannam)
kltuckmn comments on Dec 20, 2017:
I usually turn my back and/or walk away. I'm just not interested in their gods rules, regulations or punishments.
Sorry if anyone post this topic before as I am a newby here.
kltuckmn comments on Dec 20, 2017:
I still enjoy lighting my menorah and have a wreath on the door. It's festive and most people seem to be happier at this time of year. And it's not 90 here in Florida and no snow either. I'm certainly happier.

Should public nudity be legal?
kltuckmn comments on Oct 22, 2017:
If you have any respect for yourself and others, no it should not be legal. I would not appreciate having to sit where a naked body just sat or stand next to someone not wearing some kind of clothing.

Most of us were brought up in some kind of religion and the epithets were heard in our homes, schools and among friends. They don't really mean anything except as way to express an emotion.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. Who cares. It's being pleasant and courteous to others. I think there are over 4 other holidays at the end of the year. Thanksgiving, Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years eve and maybe 1 or 2 other in there somewhere. I like the season, the food, the decorations , the brightness. And it's usually not 90 here in Florida.

Personally, I don't know how to pray or what prayer is. How do prayers help victims? I do feel sadness for the victims and families. If I could go back in time and change it, I would in a heartbeat.
