I have tried to look this up with no results. My screen broke on my cellphone. I ordered a new screen for it, to which I will install in a few days, I am highly capable of doing this btw. What I can not figure out is how to connect my cell phone to my desktop computer to receive calls. The screen is black I do have compatible wires.

So much for that cellphone had got the replacement screen attempted to change the screen. It required removing several parts got to the part of removing the battery. When I was following the youtube demo. Trying to pry out the battery it ignited in a porous burn melted everything.

will the desktop access the phone as a storage device or anything when you connect?

Have taken photos off via cable in the past so drivers are there.

Just plugged it in says USB device connected. when I tried to extract photos it says no device found.

@azzow2 the phones permissions might be set to not allow it.

@azzow2 there is a telephone group that might help.
