Has anyone here ever watched the programme "Curious Creatures"? It is in the format of an off-beat quiz, and has some remarkable animal facts. Here's the fifth episode of the second series;-

Interesting, I wonder how many members of this group either don't watch or don't own a TV I don't own one 🙂

Judging by some of the responses, a pretty percentage. I can understand not having one in UK, and thus saving on a rather costly TV licence, but even in the US it seems to be frequent. Maybe the Koreans etc. are overly fixated on making massive screen TV sets rather than the smaller, low-profit-margin sets that would suit so many ordinary people. I know I had difficulty finding one with only an 18 inch screen., and that was at least 6 years ago.

What about UK members? @amisja, @jnei, @Keymaiden, @CeliaVL, @beansontoast, @LeighShelton, @girlwithsmiles, @psycheworks, etc.

I've never even heard of it - but then, I don't own a television.

I've never known about it till now. thank you.

@Jnei Saves paying the license fee. I watch very little TV, but there are a few programmes, like this one, that are worth watching. Did you view the You-tube episode

@Petter not yet but i will

@Keymaiden It is indeed. Chris Packham is quite amazing on his vast knowledge of the animal world. That is what an Asperger's syndrome person can achieve if encouraged.
(I also know the quiz host.)

@LeighShelton Every night, on BBC2, at 6.30 UK time.

We don't get UK tv, I'm afraid. We mainly watch via Spanish satellite, and dvds. I am a big fan of Chris Packham, though.

Right up my street, but never heard of it; thanks for teaching me.

@Petter me too she often works with Ben Fogel

@CeliaVL Since I live in the extreme extreme South East of Spain, I watch using my computer or smartphone. I aslo have an Android box (a Minix U1, if you wish to look it up) with apps that allow me to watch all sorts of TV from all over the world. Live.

@Keymaiden I know Kate, via her brother, Charles.

No sorry..not a big TV watcher

@Amisja Nor am I, except for exceptional programmes.

@Petter I will look into it. Thanks.
