Has anyone here ever watched the programme "Curious Creatures"? It is in the format of an off-beat quiz, and has some remarkable animal facts. Here's the fifth episode of the second series;-
Interesting, I wonder how many members of this group either don't watch or don't own a TV I don't own one
Judging by some of the responses, a pretty percentage. I can understand not having one in UK, and thus saving on a rather costly TV licence, but even in the US it seems to be frequent. Maybe the Koreans etc. are overly fixated on making massive screen TV sets rather than the smaller, low-profit-margin sets that would suit so many ordinary people. I know I had difficulty finding one with only an 18 inch screen., and that was at least 6 years ago.
What about UK members? @amisja, @jnei, @Keymaiden, @CeliaVL, @beansontoast, @LeighShelton, @girlwithsmiles, @psycheworks, etc.
I've never even heard of it - but then, I don't own a television.
I've never known about it till now. thank you.
@Petter not yet but i will
@LeighShelton Every night, on BBC2, at 6.30 UK time.
We don't get UK tv, I'm afraid. We mainly watch via Spanish satellite, and dvds. I am a big fan of Chris Packham, though.
Right up my street, but never heard of it; thanks for teaching me.
@Petter me too she often works with Ben Fogel
No sorry..not a big TV watcher
yes, that would be definitely worth & fun watching if one had a television set.
