Being an atheist in a small city is frustrating. Personally, I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who is a believer. Believing in things without evidence makes no sense to me, and to base your life on one of many collections of grand claims made by others and in books makes no sense to me at this point in my life. Of course, living here is difficult, because being an atheist here is like having a third eye. Certainly there are some, but single women in my age range here are like jackalopes. I'm starting to think they just don't exist. Is anyone else from a small town/city and get frustrated by this problem?

I live in a small town as well. Most people are involved in religion but there are actually many atheists. They just have to hide for fear of discrimination and rejection from their families.

Yes, I'm in the same boat and sympathize with you. Just be diligent and you will seek out other non-believers or fake-believers (that are date-able) Good luck 🙂

Similar small Wisconsin town and the same thing. Can't say I am frustrated by the lack of like minded people, it is what it is. I get out and do things and I am friendly and will chat with people. Sometimes I miss having a like minded person to talk to in person. As for single women and dating, my age group is even more limited in an area like this.

You might have to set sail for a new port.

Hi, SyHm and welcome to the website!

You earn website points, and help other members get to know you better, when you write an informational profile and answer all the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member.

Also, the website uses your profile to find member matches, so the more details you include, the better the match.

Then you make comments and write your own posts to earn more points, and when you reach level two you can private email people. You get different perks with different levels, and when you reach level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.

To find members near you, click on the "Meet" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.

Or click on the "About" button at the top of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.
