I don't use cat litter. I just put some newspaper in the tray, & change it everytime my cat uses it. To transition your cat just use less & less litter until there is only paper. Or you will have to change the litter more often. Use very little litter & change it every day,

The problem is not the odor.

The problem is there are cats in the house.

I'm assuming you're referring to after the cat visits the box, not the smell of the litter itself. Try switching to a different brand of cat food?

• Try a different type of litterbox (i.e. one with a lid).
• Place air fresheners by the box.
• Transition it to an outside cat

Reason with the cat..it will come around eventually.

Add baking soda, about 2-3 cups, when new. You can get the huge bags of it in Pool supplies.
