My kid just passed her driving test. Just taking a moment to boast, don'tchaknow. =]

Passed on the first attempt, 2 errors, end of the day, with who appeared to be the hardass examiner who wanted to "hurry up and get this over with so I can go home."

Congratulations to both of you. I will never forget that feeling of freedom when I first started driving.

Boast away , it's great when things like this happen. One more step to freedom for her.
My son got his written last month and is set on getting the test before the end of July so he can drive to DH bike events himself for a change.

Wtg.
My 14 yr old just opted out of drivers Ed, so he'll probably not be licensed before he's 18. Feelings are mixed. I like thinking he can drive himself for my convenience. His Mom believes the longer he stays off the wheel, the safer he is.

Well done her.

I've never passed - I had something in the region of a hundred lessons before an instructor told me that he couldn't continue taking my money with a clear conscience because I just wasn't ever going to be able to do it!

I'm sorry to hear that. =[

@IAMGROOT Meh, I'm not. Having never been able to do it, I don't miss it. I suppose some people are meant to drive, others were born to have chauffeurs. 🙂

@Jnei Now THAT'S a healthy perspective! LOL!

Do you had panic attacks when teaching her ? All for naught .   Lol

I left the panicking to her mom. LOL!

@IAMGROOT
Good call !

Congratulations to her Newfound freedom.

I think you will really enjoy having an extra driver in the family! She looks so proud of herself--very cute.
