I just saw Deadpool 2 last Tuesday. It's only been out for 3-4 weeks, we weren't that far behind.
I enjoyed Deadpool 2; had some funny moments and cool characters, but I thought the plot (Cable/time travel) was kind of weak. I definitely liked the first one better.

As someone who was reading Deadpool anthologies long before the first movie came out, I really need to get off my ass and go see the new one. But I almost never make it to the theater for some reason

Don't feel bad, the last movie that saw in a theater, was the remake of True Grit, it was about 6-8 years ago...

I saw that too, and it didn't make as much of a splash as I thought it deserved. The dialog, word for word, was the same as in the first one, and the acting was far superior.
