Sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you but you just can't see it. This how it was for me and my wife, we were good friends so I never considered her as a lover. Finally had my eyes opened one night and the rest is history. Take another look around with a new set of eyes, Mr. or Mrs. Right could be hiding in plain sight, right under your nose.

I understand completely. Sometimes it doesn't seem worth the risk, because if you're wrong and the attraction is not returned, it can change that friendship forever.
I agree. Sometimes you don't see it until you're ready to.

In my case a very good friend took me aside and slapped me upside the head to clear my vision. Stop your whining about not being able to find a decent woman in this town, she's standing right in front of you and she's perfect. She really is perfect. <3
