"Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable."~Bruce Lee

That ideal is what happens for demisexuals like me.

I feel zero sexual attraction for any gender or person until after a prolonged, close relation of well over a year, then only for that one person.

When it finally ignites, my libido is so strong and gender-bending, it scares most cis hetero men.

Boy can I relate to this.

I can kind of relate as a sapiosexual, it takes time to discover if a person is intellectually compatible or not, since looks are not my first attraction.
