ha, Uncle Sam is like an Uncle to us in so many ways. We operate almost as an extra state to you guys. Our culture is so close to your own from what I have observed, my kids go to teh states to visit family almost annually it seems, and we have lots of visitors come back to us. Very few differences.
Its the same here. Companies hire locals. Locals spend in this town to keep it alive. The casinos were suppose to give teachers a raise in pay and money for the schools. The cost for schools are crazy. Computers... programs...

There was a guy in the street in Canberra the other day, begging. I gave him four dollars in gold coin. "Excellent," he said and sprang up. "That will go towards the Adani mine" and skipped off.
That was sarcasm, just in case any troll gets the wrong idea.
