What's the weirdest thing that our EX ever said to you after you were divorced?
Mine asked me if I thought she should marry the guy she went on to marry because I was the only person in the world who truly understood her and who's opinion she trusted. WTF?
He seemed like a nice guy from what I could find out about him because he was going to be step dad to my kids but what kind of question is that?

Well my Ex-Wife didn't say it, but her new Husband did. Back before I was a Magistrate, I was sitting in my law office, and the phone rang. It was her new Husband, who I had never met, and he wanted to know If I had any tips for putting up with her crazy antics. I think he called my law office hoping that I would volunteer to represent him in divorce proceedings! What a chump!

The last words I heard from my Ex were at the courthouse where she was after me for even more money, after taking the kids out of the country, changing their surnames to her new husband's surname and denying me any contact with the children. She walked up to me in the hallway in front of the courtroom where I was talking to my lawyer, my wife and my mother and yelled
'Why did you have to fuck me like a whore?' spun around on her heel and walked off in a huff.
I was gob smacked but my wife wasn't and she quickly retorted 'You need to get professional help'.

and leave us wondering which position prompted her question.

@CallMeDave Beats me, she was the one who screwed around and anything we did in bed was consensual. I think it was more of a targeted shot at my mother and wife, neither one of them was buying into her melodrama. My mother who has always been very prim and proper, butter wouldn't melt in her mouth and she says poop instead of shit when she is really angry, simply said that she always thought my Ex was a whore and left it at that.
Double Gobsmacked in less than a minute. 😮

He tried to tell me that he was "still the same guy" after years of sneaking around and the lies to do it. As if it wouldn't change anybody....
He also tried to tell me he/me was safe from disease because his porn-site sweetie "gets tested every 30 days"
That's when I realized I was married to a moron........

Was it worth ruining her life by leaving her, just so I could be happy, and would I really rather be alone than with her?

"Why, Kathleen, you finally filled out!" ex-husband Terry said, after my doctor made me gain 10 lbs. in case I got sick. I laughed.

The implication was I was a scrawny little thing when we were married.

That 10 lbs. didn't last a year. I dropped to my regular fighting weight.

It is what my ex-did rather than said. I had enough of her and made her move out because of her actually hitting me slagging me off and many things making it obvious it wasn't working. she went into a hostel from there. I went to the hospital for a double hernia operation which is in another town over from me. I stay a while before my mother turns up to pick me up with the local newspaper. they have done an article on the hostel and guess who was doing the talking? my ex, full front page saying the reason she was in there was me physically abusing her which is bullshit and everyone knew it. here's the kicker. the house next door to me became available and she moved into it right next to her supposed abuser and looked the fucking idiot she was.

that was wild. NOt an ex but an ex wife of someone I decided was a better friend than a mate called me and asked me why I let her marry him.
